Hello!
By default, unix systems already have sFTP access to the file system.
Install the WinSCP or Filezilla program and, using the root data, configure the sFTP connection (connection port - 22), after which you can work with the server through the usual software FTP interface.
To use regular FTP, you need to install and configure an FTP server on VDS
